Let the Don Lee Center be a part of your church's Confirmation ministry!
Come together with other confirmation groups and embark on a journey of discovery at the Don Lee Center. Spend time in nature while discovering more about the United Methodist tradition, your own faith journey, and most of all, Jesus.
Led by Rev. John Farmer and Rev. Melissa Cooper, and other special resource people throughout the weekend students will engage with each other while learning. The retreat theme will focus on the five vows we all take when we join the United Methodist Church. We are asked if we will faithfully participate in the ministries of the church by our prayers, our presense, our gifts, our service and our witness.
This retreat can be a great supplement to or kickoff for your confirmation journey. Don Lee Center staff will provide resources and experiences appropriate to the most recent United Methodist curriculum for Confirmation classes, but the program will not be exclusive to that curriculum.
Special music leadership will be provided by Patrick Hunter and several local United Methodist ministers will help with sections of the event.
