Explore the amazing world of Marine Science! Campers will have a variety of hands-on experiences and focus on the importance of marine creature and habitats. Camper will encounter a variety of creatures that live in and around marine habitats and take a closer look at the amazing lives of fish through collection and dissection. This group of campers will also get the chance to create a unique fish printing craft called gyotaku.
Campers will share amazing adventures with new friends as they take a trip on a Duke Marine Lab research vessel to collect fish and marine inverts, go snorkeling on a barrier island, explore a salt marsh, and spend a night at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. Marine Science campers will have an awesome week unforgettable adventures!
