For the local Church:

If you have questions about what your church can do and how please contact Phyllis Williams  email:   pwill94415@aol.com

     1.  Be sure that your entire church knows we need help to rebuild the pier.  Let them know by putting a notice in the Church Bulletin or the Church Newsletter.  It could be something like this:

During Hurricane Irene Camp Don Lee had damages and losses. The greatest loss was the 350' pier.  They are asking for your help to fund this rebuilding effort.  As an individual, a family, or even an entire church you can make a real difference.  Please go to www.donleecenter.org and learn just how you can help rebuild the pier.  Talk about it with your family or with the church and together we can really help this happen.

       2.  A youth group in a church in Winston-Salem held an after church bake sale and raised over $400 in one Sunday.

       3.  One Presbyterian Youth Council of 30 Senior Highs is raising $350 for a foot of pier, so they can purchase a brick to display.

       4.  A Youth Group in Jacksonville is hosting a Christmas wrapping and child care program for parents to go shopping and using the money raised to help rebuild the Camp Don Lee Pier.
