Expectations of Teachers and Chaperones

The following expectations are provided to assist you, and your chaperones, in preparing for your Coastal Communities trip:

Please prepare your students for their trip. The experiences at the Don Lee Camp & Retreat Center will be an outdoor classroom filled with much excitement and discovery. Please make sure the students pack appropriately for their trip ('What to Bring') and are dressed appropriately for their activities (play clothes, water shoes, rain gear, etc.). Clothes and shoes that may get wet and dirty are a must. Instruction time is valuable, with little time to wait on those that are not prepared for the activity.

Teachers and chaperones need to be responsible for the guidance of the students in your group. this is easily accomplished if the adults are actively involved with the group.
