A time to relax...
Family Camp is a long-standing tradition at Camp Don Lee. Family camp is a time to relax. It is a time for families to be together and to be members of a larger family, the family of God. It involves parents, and grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and all kinds of combination coming together for a time of shared moments and building powerful memories.
There is a relaxed nature to these days as there is time for a number of age-level and inter-generational options each day. The faith formation theme will be “Living in the Family of God. Every day there will be an inter-generational 30-minute faith formation event with singing, scripture, drama, play and message served up in a variety of formats. These sessions will include efforts to speak to family Bible Study, family devotional times, prayer time, and family meals and holidays. There will continue to be the evening vesper service lead by the cabin groups. This year, families and individuals will have an exciting smorgasbord of regular activities to choose from for the week.
