Family Camp is a long-standing tradition at Camp Don Lee. Family camp is a time to relax. It is a time for families to be together and to be members of a larger family, the family of God. It involves parents, and grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and all kinds of combination coming together for a time of shared moments and building powerful memories.
This year's format will offer a huge variety of activity options both at Camp Don Lee and some exciting offsite excursions. Family camp can be as simple as you want or can bring a new excitment to each day for the entire family.
From the very beginning, Family Camp will begin on Saturday afternoon this year. There will be an afternoon of sailing, swimming, kayaks and more, followed by an opening night campfire by the river. Family Campers will have opportunitiy to begin each morning with a time of singing, Scripture, drama, and message. These 30 minute intergenerational times will set the tone, the message and the excitment for discovering the Presence of God each morning.
